Do you build HomeLabs from scratch?
Yes. We can assemble a complete server or NAS build from your own parts, or help you source compatible hardware and then build it for you. Bring your components in and we'll take it from there.
Can you help me choose the right hardware?
Yes. Tell us what you want to run — number of VMs, media transcoding, storage capacity, power budget — and we'll recommend a hardware spec that fits your goals and budget. We give honest advice without pushing you towards unnecessary spend.
Do you install and configure Proxmox, TrueNAS or Plex?
Yes. We install and configure Proxmox VE, TrueNAS (SCALE and CORE), Unraid, Plex, Jellyfin and many other HomeLab platforms. We can also set up VMs, LXC containers, ZFS pools, and storage shares.
Can you set up VLANs and network separation?
Yes. We configure managed switches, VLANs, and firewall rules to properly segment your HomeLab network from your home network. We also set up pfSense and OPNsense firewall appliances.
Do I need to bring the hardware to your store?
For hardware builds, repairs and OS installs, yes — bring it in to our Willetton store. For software configuration questions or planning advice, you're welcome to come in and chat without your hardware.
My HomeLab server won't boot — can you fix it?
Yes. Bring it in and we'll diagnose the problem — whether it's a failed drive, a corrupted OS, a RAID issue, faulty RAM, or a hardware fault. We'll give you a quote before we start any repair work.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment needed — just walk in during business hours. Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri 9AM–5PM, Wednesday 9AM–4PM. Closed weekends and public holidays.
